Workshop and Installation Engineer

Exciting opportunity as a Workshop and Installation Engineer in Kemsing, Kent with Automatic Machine Services Limited, the leading independent suppliers of gaming and amusement equipment throughout the South East.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare all types of machines for site ready condition
  • To prepare machines to customer specification
  • To clean and prepare machines for installation on site
  • Deliver our equipment and install at designated sites throughout the South East
  • Assist in training of new staff when required
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance and cleanliness at all times
  • Maintain accurate records for vehicle auditing purposes.

This role includes regular manual lifting and manoeuvring of large equipment.

Your Profile

  • Industry knowledge would be advantageous
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Cash counting experience is preferred but not essential
  • Clean driving licence essential
  • Able to effectively learn new skills
  • Be friendly and approachable
  • Being an effective team player is essential
  • Flexible working hours if and when required

You will ideally live locally to our Kemsing depot.

AV Installation Technician

To support our growing business, Automatic Machine Services Limited, the leading independent suppliers of gaming and amusement equipment throughout the South East, are looking for an AV Installation Technician to join our company to cover the South East of England, based from our depot in Kemsing, Kent.

Your Responsibilities

  • Carry out initial site Surveys
  • Workshop equipment testing
  • Preparation and complete on-site installations

Your Profile

  • Competent DIY skills
  • Experience of neat and tidy wiring installations

In addition, you will have

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with both customers and members of the public
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • A full driving licence and the confidence to drive to new locations daily, as well as drive a delivery van on occasion
  • The ability to work unsupervised and to manage your time effectively
  • The ability to comply with Health and Safety requirements and undertake a significant amount of manual handling.
