Workshop and Installations Engineer

Exciting opportunity as a Workshop and Installation Engineer in Westerham, Kent with Automatic Machine Services Limited, the leading independent suppliers of gaming and amusement equipment throughout the South East.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare all types of machines for site ready condition
  • To prepare machines to customer specification
  • To clean and prepare machines for installation on site
  • Deliver our equipment and install at designated sites throughout the South East
  • Assist in training of new staff when required
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance and cleanliness at all times
  • Maintain accurate records for vehicle auditing purposes.

This role includes regular manual lifting and manoeuvring of large equipment.

Your Profile

  • Industry knowledge would be advantageous
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Cash counting experience is preferred but not essential
  • Clean driving licence essential
  • Able to effectively learn new skills
  • Be friendly and approachable
  • Being an effective team player is essential
  • Flexible working hours if and when required

You will ideally live locally to our Westerham depot.

Audio & Visual Installer

The successful candidate will have competent DIY skills together with experience of neat & tidy wiring installations while having the ability to work alone or in a team. This person needs a “can do” attitude as they will be responsible for the installation of a wide range of audio & visual products into customer’s locations such as Public Houses & Social Clubs.
The ability to carry out initial site surveys, workshop equipment testing and preparation and complete on-site installations are the mains parts of this role. Products include Digital Jukeboxes, Background Music Systems and Plasma/LCD TV’s. Previous Jukebox installation experience not essential but an advantage.

The normal hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm & Friday 8.30am to 5pm and every 5th Saturday 8.30am to 1pm. These hours will change when covering holidays and sickness.
